Hi, I'm Deanna!

I'm passionate about health and wellness, and I love working with my clients to help them reach their optimal health through Yoga & Pilates.

My love and dedication for my yoga practice began in 2013!

I followed and my heart and completed my first yoga teacher training in 2017, so I could share this life changing practice with my clients.  My excitement only grew from that experience which led me to Rishikesh, India for my next two trainings.

My journey with yoga started in 2013, and after feeling the immense benefits I've had a devoted practice.  I truly believe that daily practice not only boosts physical and mental wellness but also brings mindfulness and positivity into every part of life.

In 2017, I completed my 200-hour Yoga teacher training in Calgary, diving deep into Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, and Yin Yoga. But my thirst for knowledge didn't stop there! I headed to India in 2018 for a 300-hour teacher training, focusing on Ashtanga & Hatha. I loved it so much that I went back in 2019 for another 300-hour course, this time with a focus on Vinyasa and Hatha.

Throughout all my training, I've really honed in on proper alignment of yoga postures, anatomy, pranayama (breath control), meditation, and yoga philosophy. But for me, it's just the beginning of a never-ending journey of learning. The real beauty of yoga is in continually discovering more about ourselves — mentally, emotionally, and physically — to become the best version of who we are.

Now, combining my expertise in teaching yoga with my experience as a registered massage therapist, I create therapeutic yoga programs that are tailor-made for each client. Over the years, I've seen incredible results as I've prescribed specific yoga postures to help clients correct malalignments caused by repetitive strains and injuries.

Let's work together to find the best version of you!

Why you should join me on the mat:

Self Connection

Yoga provides space for you to go inward, and get curious about how you feel emotionally and mentally as you deepen your connection to self and shift the patterns in your mind.
